We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary today with dinner at Mamacita’s on the lovely island of Culebra, Puerto Rico. We raise a glass to many more.
Here’s a verse penned by our clever friends on Astarte, Barbara and Michael (thanks guys):
Robert, a lad from Down-under
After Trish he lusted, no wonder
It led to “I Do”
Their love is still true
This match proved to be no blunder

Happy Anniversary,
ReplyDeleteSusan and I were also married in 1984.
Sincerely,
Andes
Happy anniversary! I hate to say it, but I wasn't even born in 1984. Haha. Just kidding. Have fun and keep cruisin'. Steph
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you chose Culebra for your wedding anniversary .
ReplyDeleteEfrain and I were married in San Juan.
We spent our honeymoon in Puert Rico.
It brought memories of a song that was popular in the 40's or 50's. I translate some of the lyrics for you below
Voy a pasar mi Luna de miel en Puerto Rico
Voy a pasar mi Luna de miel bajo el cielo azul de Puerto Rico.
I am going to spend my honey moon in Puerto Rico
I am going to spend my honey moon under the blue skies of Puerto Rico
Sing along to a chachacha beat
Happy 25th anniversary !
Best Wishes for the anniversary, sounds like a great place to celebrate it

Congrats on your anniversary. Here's wishing you 25 more (as I hoist a Kalik in Marsh Harbour). Fair winds and following seas -
