Anchorages... Fakarava, Tuamotus. June 1, 20


In the lagoon of a Tuamotus atoll you might be anchored in a small patche of sand under perhaps 40 feet of water, surrounded by coral heads. Wind shifts can have your anchor chain tangled and it takes some smart manoeuvring or a dive to get free.
